the Course
A qualification for those individuals who are seriously pursuing a career
as a professional web page designer. This course offers the broad spectrum
of skills needed to become a professional in the web design world. With
a course content offering training in two very popular web programming
languages as well as a professional graphics package, you will be fully
equipped to perform the tasks of a high level advanced web designer. This
should be seen as the logical next step after completing the introductory
FrontPage orientated web page design course.
This course is designed as a self-enrichment course and content is complimentary
to anyone with a marketing background or any person who wishes to pursue
a career in conduction business over the Internet.
Entrance requirements
-
O level or equivalent with 6 months Internet related experience. Basic
programming experience recommended.
- Students should be comfortable using Microsoft Windows 95 and browsing the Internet

When the tests have been passed, the candidate will receive an RRC Diploma
in Advanced Web Design

Notes
You will need access to a Y2K compliant 486 PC, 16 MB RAM, 500 MB Hard
Drive, Sound Card, Windows 95 or NT4. Internet access with a web browser
to complete the exercises - these are available free of charge from Netscape.com
or Microsoft.com, plus PhotoShop 5.0 software.
